We have just completed construction of this new custom home in Sagle on a secondary waterfront lot to the Pend Oreille River. We were privileged to have the opportunity to design and build this home for clients that retired here from Kodiak, Alaska.

On this blog entry, we want to share pictures of the new custom kitchen. It featured radiant heating via 1/2" PEX pipe embedded in Gypcrete over a 1 1/8" plywood subfloor over a crawl space. The flooring chosen is Kahrs engineered oak flooring. It is perfect for radiant floor heating since it is dimensionally stable and floats over the subfloor. The cabinets are cherry and feature dovetail drawers, solid wood construction, plywood boxes, soft-close stainless hardware and beautiful details. The appliances are stainless steel. The windows are Milgard vinyl, window trim is lacquered hemlock, and the backsplash is marble. The home features granite countertops in this kitchen.
