Progress toward completion. We are basically wrapping up the interior of this 800 SQF apartment that is located within the walls of a 40x80 shop near Clark Fork. The cabinets are hickory in a natural finish. This is a very reasonably priced cabinet line by Homecrest, in which we have upgraded to all plywood box construction (which is all we use), and the drawers are solid wood with dovetailed joints and soft close drawer slides.
We really like the look and feel and the friendly price of the Formica 180FX laminate countertops. They are a great substitute for stone countertops at a very economical price. They even have a Corian Gemloc bullnose edging.
The interior doors in this apartment are Fir and are finished in a clear lacquer against the vertical grain hemlock trim stain with Old Masters Spanish Oak wiping stain and topped with a lacquer:
