We are making excellent progress completing the exterior of this home near Sandpoint. Since we designed this home, and in our role as a general contractor, we constantly advise on which materials work well and match the homeowner's tastes. While I have used Hardi shingles a number of times, I prefer the look and feel of real wood. Plus, it is such a pleasure to actually work with and install. Though the weather is closing in on us, we are close to completing the exterior of this home before the snow flies, and here is how the front looks with Cedar trim, Certainteed fiber cement lap siding and Cedar shingles on the gable ends.
